Marrakech’s Sign Language Café is among the most important of the city’s resources for the deaf community. Recently renovated and in an inviting, if somewhat removed, side street in the city, it employs five deaf chefs and offers a slew of accommodations, including lights that catch the workers’ attention and illustrated, not written, recipes.
