2026 is Morocco’s first election year in five years. On September 23, the current session of Parliament will close, and both chambers will go up for re-election. The previous parliamentary election took place in 2021 and saw a decisive victory for the National Rally of Independents (RNI), led by current Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch.
